It has been sixty-five years since we were graduating seniors at Kapaun. Based on the information appearing on our class website there are thirty-four of the nearly one hundred classmates still alive. The odds are that our numbers will be even smaller when the time comes for a seventieth reunion. With this in mind, we should probably consider a sixty-fifth reunion. A group consisting of Gary Smith, John Hutchinson, Jerry Aaron, Jim O'Donnell , Jack McClure, Ron Dreiling, Duane Ericson, and Marion Stevens have been meeting with Chris O'Donnell Graf (Jim's daughter and KMC Alumni Relations Coordinator) to plan a reunion. Tentative plans are for a reunion on June 10-11, 2023. A SAVE THE DATE announcement is attached.

Our first request is that you plan to attend the reunion. Secondly, please look at the information displayed on the above website. If you have any additions, corrections, or deletions that would help us include every 1958 Kapaun graduate we would appreciate your help. We will post more information here as it becomes available.

The group that is planning the 65th Kapaun Reunion met on March 28. It was decided that we will invite widows of deceased 1958 Kapaun graduates to attend as our guests. Jim O'Donnell and Ron Dreiling have agreed to shop for caterers. Scheduling, price, and Sunday morning activities are still to be determined. There will be at least one more meeting of the group.

On April 19 Gary Smith and John Hutchinson met with Chris Graf for further event planning. The dates of June 10-11 were set and suitable reservations were made. An invitation was designed that will be sent out soon. The widows of our deceased classmates will be invited to attend as our guests. Classmembers can also bring guests. Meal planning is still in progress.

We have very few names and current addresses of widows of classmates. If you can help with this please send us the information.

Reunion invitations sent on April 26, 2023.
