Keith Motley Notes

Keith I. Motley's mother is Louise (Quick) Motley-Miller. Louise was born on Sept. 20, 1918, in Forest City, Mo., the daughter of Guinn and Maymie (Tucker) Quick Mellon. She lived in Wichita, Kansas from 1954 until 1990, when she moved back to St. Joseph. She married Keith Motley in June of 1937 in St. Joseph. Keith was killed during World War II at the Battle of the Bulge. She later married Elmer Miller in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1974. Her survivors include her children, Kay Motley Crovatto, New Orleans, La., Keith Motley, Jr., San Diego, Calif., Michael Miller, White Water, Kan., and JoLynn Miller Trussell, Spring, Texas.

Elmer and Louise Miller appeared in the 1959 Kansas Census and lived at 8321 Rose Lane in Wichita, Kansas with Kaye Motley, Keith I Motley, Michael Miller, and Johanna Miller. Keith was Elmer's step-son. Keith graduated from California State University Long Beach and the UCLA Law School and practiced in San Diego, California. He married Janet Weinstein.
